Last Minute Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Her

Valentine’s Day is in five days. I don’t know what you have been waiting for, but you gotta get your girl a gift. And I’m here to help. While it may be too late to order something from her favorite website without paying an arm and leg for expedited shipping, there are so many options for last-minute gifts you can get your girl to make her Valentine’s Day great. Regardless of your price point, it’s easy to find her a gift that will make her happy and make you the best partner ever!

The first, probably easiest gift to get her is a bouquet of flowers. I know everyone says red roses are the most romantic flowers, and it’s true, but they can get really pricey really quickly. The average cost of a dozen roses in the U.S. is over $80, which is absurd. If you want to get her flowers, every single grocery store has a floral section. Trader Joe’s has quite the variety and the flowers are uncommonly cheaper than most grocers. If you have more of a budget and want to get her something more long-lasting, I would suggest the eternity flowers. You can get any size arrangement of roses that lasts at least a year. While they are on the pricier side, the bigger the arrangement, the more expensive; she will be able to keep them for a long time. Additionally, you can choose her favorite color to make it a more personable gift.

I know it sounds cliche, but flowers and a box of chocolates really are the key to a girl's heart. Maybe not chocolate, but you can get her favorite snacks. Because it is Valentine’s season, many companies have branded their items with the theme just for the holiday. The seasonal section at Target has all of it in one place. Or, you can go to your local wholesale club like BJ’s, Costco, or Sam’s Club, and buy her favorite snack in bulk. You can put these in a basket you make for her and include a stuffed animal and other little items she would use, such as face masks, a blanket, and anything that makes you think of her. You can then include a handwritten card to make the gift more personal and to show her that you love her; she would never know that this present was bought at the last minute.

A gift for you and her would be a planned trip to Victoria’s Secret. You can pick a set out that you like and buy it for her. Not only will she love the fact that you are purchasing her a gift, but you are spending quality time with her and picking out something to buy together. Victoria’s Secret always has coupons and different deals so you can go beyond just the one set. And if lingerie is not her thing, there are also cute and comfy pajama sets that would be a perfect gift for her. Right now, they have a Valentine’s Day collection ranging from matching sets to lingerie to pajamas and everything in between. But if you are not into the cutesy heart-printed pink sets, they have so many more options to choose from.

There are so many things that you can buy as a last-minute Valentine’s gift for that special someone to make their day that much better. Anything that you get her, she’s going to love it, regardless of how much it costs. Just a reminder for next year, do not wait until five days before the big day to buy her a gift. While these are good gift ideas, planning and doing something personal will always be the way to go. Give her a good smooch, and have a happy Valentine's Day!
